I’m Candace, a North Carolina native turned Florida transplant. When my husband Brandon and I first moved to Jacksonville, I battled the unfamiliar climate, the stubborn weeds, and the doubts of every store that said, “Those flowers just don’t grow here.” Instead of giving in, I took it as a sign: to learn, to adapt, and to nurture beauty where no one thought it possible.
What began as a personal challenge during late-night gardening sessions has blossomed into an urban cut-flower farm in Jacksonville’s Mandarin area. We named it Three Sweet Peas in honor of our two girls and me—Brandon’s ‘sweet peas.’ Together, we do all the tending, cutting, and arranging, pouring love into every seed, bulb, and tuber.
